South African non-fiction still dominates the Sunday Times South African bestseller list, and Deon Meyer continues to hold his own among a few big international names on the fiction list.
Taking top spot on the fiction list this month is Paulo Coelho’s new book Adultery, while Meyer’s latest, Cobra, and The Fault in Our Stars by John Green hold their place in the top five.
On the non-fiction side, Real Meal Revolution and Good Morning, Mr Mandela continue to dominate, although Mzilikazi wa Afrika, with Nothing Left to Steal, and Zapiro, with DemoCrazy: SA’s Twenty-Year Trip, are building a strong challenge.
The information for the list comes from SAPnet/Nielsen, bookseller data and publisher data.
