Each year we are blown away by the authors from around the world who are willing to make the lengthy trip to Cape Town to join us, and 2014 is no exception. So get reading in preparation for incredible events in September! Books will be available from the Book Lounge.

Open Book is an ongoing affair and September is some way off! Before then, we are running monthly events at schools as well as mentoring programmes from three locations.

Kicking off in February, our Youth Programme is one we are very excited about. Scottish performance poet, Rachel McCrum will visit Westridge High School on the 5th February to speak to students at the school. We will also be running the first mentoring programme of the year at the school.

Other events on the horizon include Pulp Fiction – The Saga Continues…We will once again be working with our much loved partners, Central Library, on what looks to be one of our most exciting book installations yet. This will coincide with Library Week in March and we hope to see you all there!
